    Which bucket seats?

Loads of options, Bimarco do decent seats at good prices, I'll be going with the Cobra II as they get half decent reviews and are really inexpensive at £130 delivered. That's there budget seat if you want something better like the futura which is FIA approved thats only £230. Then there's the...

    Brake bleeding

Get yourself a proper flair nut spanner from Halfords for the nipple and their own penetrating spray will suffice. The normal procedure is furthest away from the master going to closest for bleeding so NSR/OSR/NSF/OSF, always served me fine.

    Heavy v light wheels...

Seems that way, as you say on track would be a different story you'd think. Lighter wheels would aid better braking, better cornering and better acceleration. Not huge amounts but over a race of 10-20 laps would be a few seconds difference.

    Heavy v light wheels...

    Early Christmas present Sparco R100

I tip for removing the front seats is soak the nuts underneath the car with penetrating spray a day before and on the day of removal, cant remember if its the inner or outer 2 but I sheared one of mine when removing them, as the nut was rusted on that bad.

    Early Christmas present Sparco R100

Seems it will be a pressure switch then, just try and tape it down if it doesn't work then just get it on CLIP and get them deleted permanently once all fitted.

    Early Christmas present Sparco R100

Does to micro switch plug into anything on the seat runner or is it just pressure activated? If the latter could you not just tape the fecker down to turn the light off? Theres been hurdrends you've manged to fit aftermarket seats on here and get all the lights out so it must be possible, my...

    Early Christmas present Sparco R100

I think the micro switch is a seat position sensor, so it can gauge how far to deploy the air bag in the event of a crash based on how far back the seat is positioned. Just forget about it and tuck it out the way, as you'll deactivate the airbag system with the new seat anyway as you'll be...

Rear wheel cylinder - brake pipe nut size?

You can get a 11mm flare spanner from Halfords for around £7. http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/tools/spanners-wrenches/teng-flare-nut-wrench-10-x-11mm

What's the problem with short shift kits?

Done mine recently and need to take it off again to bend it slightly. As above its a bit fiddly, wouldn't be paying someone to do it though as its only 4 bolts under the heatsheild, I did however have to undo my scorpion decat as well as there wasn't enough room to get the thing in and out...

Rear wheel cylinder - brake pipe nut size?

Just make sure you use a flare nut spanner otherwise you run the risk of it rounding, been there done that!

    Another boss. Another issue.

You'll be fine mate, the indicators wont self cancel and the TC will be disengaged, no biggie as its an intrusive POS system anyway. I've got the OMP boss on my FF by the way, and sometimes the TC will disengage and sometimes it wont, so I just turn it of when getting in it.

Getting home from a track after having an accident

Fitting cup brake set up, is it worth it?

Awesome picture. Metal on metal there, did your pads delaminate? Maybe the pump, master and sensors are different on a ph1? Dunno just find it gash. Op if selling totally pointless as it will be a PITA to do then refit.

Fitting cup brake set up, is it worth it?

It doesn't have enough clamping force and if you can get it to kick in it spits you to one side. I run 888s and CL5+ and there's not even a hint of it kicking in on track. And reliability, Jesus wept. So far I've had 2 pumps and a wheel speed sensor, and who's bright idea was it to change it to...
