    My Integra Type R DC2

Cracking car no doubt and I bet it howls! but it does look very dated styling wise

    Decat disadvantage??

Fred, london isn't a "hole" and seems you have never been here I suggest you shut your mouth ;) Decats are only risky imo if they are silly loud - talking yozza loud here. The police do not inspect emissions at the road side, the VOSA vans however do. If they do check they can then take your...

    182 or 197

For me personally, the 197 does not jump forward enough in performance terms to warrant buying one at the moment. And of course I'm biased but I disagree that the 182's look dated!

    182 rev limiter

Your trying to remove the rev limiter that RS in all their glory put there for a very good reason. That's probably a good place to start.

Strange noises with a car full of passengers?!?!

    Highest Mileage 172/182/197?

Fletcher will be along shortly, his 172 is well over a 100k and running smooth!

Khumo V700 trackday/road legal rubber- any info?

That is mainly for competition reasons, however I can see what your saying about the wear. I'll going to run them on the car for a few days prior to the trackday so hopefully that will help.

    PH2 Restore > Road Going Go-Kart

tbc mate, I'll have a dig through the books tmrw if I get a moment, it certainly does the lights, not 100% on the EBD input though. You should head over our way at some point chap, maybe when Dan comes over for the photos? Would be nice to have a poke around your track-sl@g:)

    PH2 Restore > Road Going Go-Kart

lol, the adjustable one right? Whats up with it then, too much on the rears even when fully turned? I thought the brake line work you carried out looked excellent!

Khumo V700 trackday/road legal rubber- any info?

Sorry chap can't get other sizes, just a one off at the moment :( The p-neros on the car have been great, handled a hard day at brands without any major upsets but after another day at Snet next week they will be bald, well past illegal :(, I was considering getting some partworns just to throw...

Khumo V700 trackday/road legal rubber- any info?

I should also add that they are the soft compound, but at £40 a tyre fitted i'm not exactly complaining! I expect to get about 3000-3500 miles max out of the set based on a wear rating of only 50! Whatever happens it should be a fun 3-4k:cool:

    PH2 Restore > Road Going Go-Kart

Thanks for the info chap, presents an interesting read. According to that the electronic sensor on the rear arm dictates the xenon leveling as you suggested. The brake bias is clearly controlled by EBD but I do not know if the rear arm acts as an input for this system? As you suggest the sensor...

    PH2 Restore > Road Going Go-Kart

Would be interested to see your info. The cups have fixed brake bias of around 90/10% to the front/rear so have no brake bias valve. James appears to have a que forming of people that want it doing, needless to say I'm first on the list ;)

Khumo V700 trackday/road legal rubber- any info?

Picked up a full set of these for an unbelievable price mainly for use through the summer and on a few track days I have coming up. I've heard on the grape vine that these can be quite pressure sensitive so was wondering if anyone *inferno?* has got some words of advice or experience with...

    Car/Parts Theft

Man it sounds like some of you guys live in proper rough areas!! Garages are the answer for petty theft of parts, even a couple of security lights & dummy CCTV should deter most intruders. You can get sets for £60 of the bay.

    better driving please....

flol I can indeed verify that Kevin's car has excessive emissions. I would go far enough to say that you could probably bottle and refill the tank with what comes out of the back!

    R26R

Drove one for half an hour at brands last week. Great machines, but strangely enough I found my Clio more enjoyable :quiet: I would imagine this was because I was pushing the Clio quite hard, and although I wasn't exactly hanging about in the R26R you could certainly go a lot faster if you...

    is a 182 exhaust restrictive?

As T5PHY mentions the main reason people head for aftermarket systems is that they are life long (if stainless) and can bring small power gains as a bonus. There are ways to quiet a loud system down if it is too noisy, lots of custom exhaust companies will add more silencers etc for relatively...
