I've done that but the one I've put in doesn't have a whole for the sensor. The new one is in but I can't open the bonnet either which could also be a problem!

I've just changed the grille on my car for a sport one but there isn't hole for the bonnet sensor. So far I've disconnected the pin so it doesn't keep alarming the car but I'm left without the sensor working. I know some people have done these so your help is appreciated.
