Don't spend £20 on them whatever you do!! They don't cost that!! I got some recently off eBay that are pretty good and about the same brightness as what carl posted ps it's hard to photo them as they look brighter on camera then normal

To do the clock properly requires making to circuit boards and mounting them behind the LCD in the clock part. Do you have a spare one of those??? Just the clock part in the middle (the one that displays temp/radio station???

The wavelength stuff is kinda imporatnt (as well as the vmax) Wavelength is the wavelength of the light itself but you also want to know how bright it is int or mcd (second column) If you have ones with a low nm then they wont shine very bright. The phenoptix ones are velly good here they are...

You dont need to chop the black connector off but it does help if you can/want to. if you chop it off so that you have some wire left on the black connector part you can use a choc bloc to reattach it when you come to put standard seats back in.

NO dude Resistors are bi-directional so doesnt matter what way round they go. Diodes can only go one way. There is a possibility your resistor is broken. Easy way to tell would be to put a multimeter across the ends though and id guess you dont have one of them!! Some replacments are on the...
