Nice Mate ! Lee and Kenny at TCR said they were impressed with your times when i was in the other week having my cam and aux belts and clutch done by them .
Hope you get the sponsership I think You will do well, Some great drivers Started at TCR .
Good luck with it keep us posted. :approve:
I would get new ball joints with 12mm bolts and check that the holes in the arms have not egged out also (they probly have)
And as Rob said because you have wrong ball joints holes in them will be 10.5 so you wont be able to get 12mm bolts in anyway without opening them up and this is NOT worth...
Its not the tolerance on aftermarket bolts they are 10mm bolts They should be 12mm They arnt goin to be 2mm wrong on tolerance .
if you get the right balljoint they are 12mm bolts, as Danny said you have wrong balljoints you have 10mm bolts going into a 12.5 13mm hole not good .
You have ball joints from std clio with the 10mm bolts all 1*2 ball joints are m12, Thread Pitch does not matter as long as you fit Nyloks. holes in ball joints will be wrong too You probly have about 3mm play in holes at the minute.
Your tracking will probly be way out too .
its not an inch !! overall diameter of a 17 with 205 40 17's is 5mm more than a 16 with 205 45 16 .
Cant see thmem going on with those springs thou will need 42 offset i reckon
I run 17's pro race on eibachs get good lightweight wheels handles better than it did on 16s the handling thing is a load of bollox IMO . If they are Big heavy chavvy wheels with incorrect offset then maybe Handling not as good.
It will rub on apex springs thou I reckon :)
ONLY 5mm diffence in...
Your wheels are wrong offset turini offset for 172 182 is 42mm
I run pro race 38 offset on 17's on sportlines std shocks no problems at all .
pics of wheels fitted ?
