I looked a voda, but they seem a complete rip when it comes to texts, from what I could work out none of the price plans include any texts and you have to pay 'x' quid per month for texts, unless I've missed something!

I've also heard that the firmware on the orange version is the generic version :) Apparently all they've done is just add their own orange theme.

I could have had 1500 texts if I'd gone onto an 18 month contract, but I didn't want that. The terms of the contract are fine for my use.

I've never used the camera on any of the phones I've owned, both my digital cameras produce far better shots than any phone camera!

The macbooks are rumoured to be announced tomorrow, will most likely be a 13" version, although my 15" powerbook is more than portable though and the smallest iBooks were tiny, too small for me. There's also the 17" macbook pro which would fit the requirement of being a "large laptop" for home.

Wouldn't get one from orange, it'll have the cack orange modded firmware and that cripples most phones they supply! My mate had a symbian based phone from orange (he was one of their 3g trialists) and he hated all the rubbish they put on it.

Seconded. Biggest pile of w**k ever. Awful user interface (come on, it's 2006, how about implementing proportional scroll bars), over complicated search.... Thank god I only have to use it when I try to find a receipt when I want to upgrade software etc.

Damn you! When I was in Australia at christmas my mate had broadband (LLU stylee) installed, he basically lives next door to the exchange, 24 Mbit...grr! He was loving the fact that he could download top gear episodes faster than he could watch them!
