Yeah, wasn't meaning anything by that, just meant that I considered voda but didn't like what they were offering! The amount of texts I have on my orange contract would cost me £25 extra/mo, so that'd be at least £45 a month on voda!
I was kind of tempted by three, my aunt is on it and she has...
I looked a voda, but they seem a complete rip when it comes to texts, from what I could work out none of the price plans include any texts and you have to pay 'x' quid per month for texts, unless I've missed something!
£49. 12 month contract, 500 texts, 100 minutes (I use texts more than voice).
If I'd picked an 18 month then it'd have been something like 1500 texts a month.
Cool. Dunno what it's like for existing customers, I'm a new customer coming back to orange so the deal didn't seem to bad for me, certainly cheaper than pay and go that I'm currently on!
Hoping it'll be here tomorrow!
Yes. I had a confirmation email this morning, it'll be here monday or tuesday.
I also had a slight email issue, so I asked them to re-confirm this, I got a second email from them also stating this.
I cancelled my orange order from a third party yesterday and ordered direct from orange (yeah, I'm aware of possible firmware issues), cheaper and better contract!
Got email this morning saying that my order has been processed succesfully and that it'll be with me within two days.
Afaik on...
Hey there...
Would anybody be interested in a standalone device which used the safety camera database from pocketgpsworld?
In addition to the speed camera stuff, the device would also be able to measure acceleration and do the 0-60 timings and stuff like that.
The unit would have a MMC...
The macbooks are rumoured to be announced tomorrow, will most likely be a 13" version, although my 15" powerbook is more than portable though and the smallest iBooks were tiny, too small for me.
There's also the 17" macbook pro which would fit the requirement of being a "large laptop" for home.
Wouldn't get one from orange, it'll have the cack orange modded firmware and that cripples most phones they supply! My mate had a symbian based phone from orange (he was one of their 3g trialists) and he hated all the rubbish they put on it.
You know that monaco blue is the way forward! ;)
I see more 182's than I do 172's round here. (cambs) Although I pass the same silver 172 every day on the way to work.
Got a URL?
Cheapest I've found sim free is around £520, although it's more than likely that the price of this will drop when people start getting in large quantities of stock.
Hence the reason why I said "the hd is at worst a fragile component waiting to fail".
Give me solid state any day of the week.
Edit: Just to add, I can guarantee that the failure rates on the N91 will be higher than the N80.
Glad it wasn't just me who thought that then!
I'm not entirely sure what all the fuss is about with the n91, the hd is at worst a fragile component waiting to fail, and it's considerably worse looking than the n80 imho.
It'll be more interesting to see what the actual phone companies will...
Seconded. Biggest pile of w**k ever. Awful user interface (come on, it's 2006, how about implementing proportional scroll bars), over complicated search....
Thank god I only have to use it when I try to find a receipt when I want to upgrade software etc.
Damn you!
When I was in Australia at christmas my mate had broadband (LLU stylee) installed, he basically lives next door to the exchange, 24 Mbit...grr!
He was loving the fact that he could download top gear episodes faster than he could watch them!
