Interesting thread this... whats the 0-60 on a 1.6 16v? On autotrader etc, the 1.6;s are generally cheaper than the 1.2;s, I guess cos the 1.2s are more popular with cheaper insurance, more economical etc?

Fair play mate, if ur keepin her I'd get them sportlines on quick, and if u wana spend even more, get some turinis as they look ace on mk1's. Either that or pro race 1.2s which are slightly cheaper

Cheers guys. yeah 1 bodyshop has said he will do the bumpstrips for £30 with some other repair work I'm having done. Just a bit cautious cos of the amount of places saying its not worth it...maybe ur right clioftw, they jus cba with the work

was going to get my bumpstrips/doorhandles/front n back bumpers done on my Dynamique at a bodyshop.
Been round a few places, some are willing to do it and have given reasonable prices, 2/3 arent as they have said the plastic material is unsuitable for painting??

Yeah my 1 wheel tht I had done took them about 2 hours and I can see it was a bit of a quickie job rather than a full tyre off etc..as the laquer appears thinner/ feels rougher than on other parts of the wheel....watch out for this with refurbs
