I really want wheel woollies but they're just so expensive!
i use little brushes for the faces and a megs yellow brush for the insides
I also have a thick cheap microfibres mitt that I use too
It's viable. It's basically an ariel atom made by a mainstream manufacturer.
as for 1.6 turbo on a 1.0. When all these new Eco boosts are out of warranty I'm sure you'd get people such as chip building the 2.0 with the 3.5 turbo on it and putting it in a mk1 KA
warranty isn't an issue then ;)
Ford are my new favourite manufacturer!
BIG <3 for ecoboost!
Never has my mind been changed soo much about something! I had big doubts about it when it was released but ford have well and truly put me in m place!
Can anyone point me in the direction of a compact fuse box that looks neat?
ideally one that can house about 4 relays and a handful of fuses?
You track car owners must have something tidy to recommend?
Yes the wheels were about 2 weeks old (from when I picked it up of course) I took them off, washed them, using AG shampoo iirc, de- tarred, de-ironed, washed again, ipa (50/50 mix with water) wipe down and applied c5 with cotton wool pads (used more than I should have and wanted to but used less...
Do it! They're awesome fun!
ive averaged 27.5 over 3000 miles on the car computer. It will easily do 35+ if you drive like miss daisy, but its hard to not put your foot down tbh.
c5 only lasted about 2 weeks on these wheels yeah. Russ seemed to think it was the temperature I applied it in
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
After reading his contributions to this forum I have come to the conclusion that he is a gullible moron.
proof that a little knowledge can do more harm than good
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
So sticking to proper services, set out by Renault, the people who built the engines. I should get my cambelt changed every 72k or 5 years whichever comes first then right?
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
Chaz you haven't answered me...
if I do more accelerating than Doris will my cambelt go before the scheduled maintenance says so?
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
Thread went gold...
on the verge of going platinum!
all it needs is this mug to keep digging. If his cambelt snapped however, that's an irony bomb Munson would be proud of!
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
I'm literally in tears at this thread!
Ron and Alan you have made my night and for that I thank you! Seriously! Thanks LOL!
OT. Chaz, if I rag my engine a lot, putting it through lots of acceleration cycles will my cambelt fail before Doris' because she...
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
Poetic brilliance would be in a few years time, mr chaz puts up a "my Campbell snapped" thread.
i honestly couldn't contain my exitement
Well the wheels probably get this treatment once a month. So not as much exposure as weekly.
im still waiting for fuss to send me the remainder of my finest so I can sort some stone chips on the front so when I get that I might whack a bit on the wheels and see how we'll that goes.
i can still...
Chris, they've only had dlux applied and topped with reload and tbh neither seem to be doing a very good job. I normally use a Mit in my shampoo bucket to clean them but its hard to get in the crevices and the wheel cleaner just makes it effortless.
i won't be doing any damage to them will I...
