You've written off cars like there exam results or something!
I have pics of the rear wheel fubar'd one on my desktop from ages ago!
That'd be my favourite :)
Not sure how they get them off but as far as I'm aware they compress them on using a clamp sorta thingy, under several tones of pressure.
I think I need both my rear's doing :/ But I might just do the passenger side as I know that is the one that makes the noise when going around roundabouts...
Not get those back seatbelts out if you want rid of the weight of the rear seats dude?
Looks a tidy job, I was thinking of just putting carpet over mine with no MDF etc. Then can just pull it up to stick things in the wheel well instead of the boot.
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Can you not get these style switches in a 3 way sorta thing, with a down up and middle variation?
In this sorta layout:
Laxy's.
Crisp, not get wind noise without any interior mirror covers on? How do you adjust the mirrors? :/
Think I'll do this soon, although I'll make a carbon fibre mould of the mirror caps first then make a carbon caps using the mould of the renault caps to get it the right size, then bond them on.
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Make your own bonnet etc? Take a fair bit of work but would be mint IMO. What sort of race series is open to a guy who just has his little clio that he doesn't want to crash? :)
It's a suction mount yeah? Wouldn't want to trust one with anything more than a hand...
You work at ASDA for an hour? Surely not worth the petrol it takes to get you there while flooring it? ;)
But yes, get to a meet. Do you still want my boot carpet?
Re: Not so much a Project...
30/40 quid or so for an RS grille, best bet is joining the membership thingy and just keeping a look out in the FS section.
Re: Not so much a Project...
Pretty sure that looks like Naughty blue dude, same as this:
If you want rallye inspired car, but still tidy looking I'd stick some white 2118's on it, coilies/solid top mounts/strut braces for the whole suspension lot. Some decent seats, hardly any interior...
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
I wish I knew more technically to understand alot more, all I know is that it's forking cool. I wouldn't roll without a slam panel without a full cage though :/
Is any piece of this car carbon?
Pics of your camera mount would be good aswell ;)
I quite like the JDM style ones people make, but not too keen on them overall.
I learnt to drive in a diesel Yaris, I'm not sure if it differs to the petrol version, but having driven my clio then driven the Yaris again, the pedals were completely numb, no road feeling in them at all. The...
