Wish i hadnt sold the 197. However the Cup is perfect for saving with impending house purchase early next year, cheaper to run in terms of insurance/fuel/less to go wrong with no keyless and what not.. Get the house sorted, then see what happens.

Fine mate! Idles better and does pick up better below 5k. Only really wanted it to sort the idle issue, just seemed a little low (well lower than my previous 172/182) Coupled with decat and inlets, it all helps i suppose :)

My Cup now pretty much runs about 10mm lower than o.e, but on the B14 Billsteins. Best thing i've ever done. Its a right weapon on a good B road. It was a good 15mm lower before last weekend, but imo the car was being upset/thrown about too much for my liking. Reading through the TUV blurb that...

Dont bother is the general consensus. The one i used was VERY stiff and awkward to use. Its a rather poor copy of another unit anyway

Possibly, i swapped my old Cup ones with a mate who worked a Renault garage, we swapped them off a Clio Campus ;) Looks mint fella :)
