I sort of agree with the above comment, although on the positive side the light brown/cream background colours give it a good home cooking sort of feel, so I think that you’ve achieved what you set out to do :)
One that the Smiths fans amongst you will appriciate-

And a blog post about the trip (those who aren’t familiar with the Smiths or the club may want to read this as an explanation).

They’re alright for what you want I suppose. But personally if you want to see significant improvements over your phone then go for a second hand DSLR, with a lens they can be had for £200 and under :)
Just get a proper macro lens, there’s no real replacement. Even something like a second hand Sigma 50mm F2.8 Macro would do the job for what you want.
Things are getting way too technical here, the simple answer is to get a cheap second hand macro lens, such as the Sigma I mentioned.
That must have been so hard to deal with :( At least you can hold your head high that you had the honour of capturing his memory, I’m sure he would have appreciated it.
You can replace photos on Flickr whilst maintaining the stats you know, Ben. Just remove the dust spot and replace it, you’ll still have the faves and views :)
I like it again, Ben. But watch that dust spot in the middle of the sky above the buildings, and again, I think less water would be a better composition :)
Yeah it should be, I'm getting a passenger band too, so I wouldn't mind going out for a few laps in this if that's alright? I'll supply the photos in return ;)
They look SO much better with the single exhaust rather than the pointless 4 pipes. I’ve never liked the 4 pipes as standard, it’s not what an Impreza is about IMO.
The most amazing thing about the top fuel dragsters is that - aside from the astonishing figures and the power - there’s a bloke who has to sit in the thing as it does those unbelievably quick runs.
LOL! the 18-55 is a 58mm filter thread, so it’ll be quite annoying having to buy two different sized filters unless you decide which one to get it for.
As for Landscape I’ve never particularly found the need for a CPL, I like reflections in water etc but if you want to darken the blues in the...
It’s out of focus. As for noise it’s not that noisy really, it’s more the white balance in the bottom half of the image, if that was corrected it might not seems as noisy.
Just get the 70-300, Phil. You have to ask yourself how much these reviews are exaggerated, haven't these people heard of sharpening in post? It's an L lens, so it's not going to be horrifically soft, so don't worry too much about sharpness, if you're that bothered then just bump up the...
Yes, yet another Liverpool photo from me, although this is technically taken in Formby.
City in the Distance by Niall97, on Flickr
It’s on my blog also- http://niallleaphotography.co.uk/general-photography/liverpool-viewed-from-formby-beach/
The front of it looks matte in that, I’m guessing that’s down to shopping things out or shopping exposures together? I did some light painting with a UR 200 with some success, some of the shots were hard to work with but the ones I kept weren’t too bad. Alien Green however, utter pain to get...
I’ve got some social media pages sorted out to go along with my new website ( http://niallleaphotography.co.uk/ ). This website has been sorted out speed wise (FAO Dan) with a new theme, the old one was very laggy.
