No, I went for this one on my Nikon too, it beats both Canon and Nikon’s own offerings in the F1.4 category apparently according to reviews, the 50mm F1.2L is another story however.

Fair enough, but that’s street photography for you, it often splits opinion. But I’m guessing then that you complain to every CCTV company that captures your every move? Surely they’re capturing you unknowingly also?

You use a Neutral Density filter and a long exposure, so as the clouds move they are blurred because of the slow shutter speed (long exposure).

It made it to explore :)

I’m not sure, google maps should give you a good indicator, or failing that it’s signposted heavily being a hospital car park :) Also, the multi-story car park in St Helens Town centre is another good option, you can get onto the top level too but the lighting is quite nice in the lower levels...

I don’t know of abandoned places in St Helens/Warrington that you would be able to access, although there will probably be somewhere. For that sort of thing the Trafford Park area is your best bet if you can travel a bit further. You could try Warrington Hospital car park for just a good...

Find an object in your house and put it in front of the camera (not directly) then focus on something behind it and you’ll get that effect.
