I did one for another garage the other day, old guy who doesnt do cambelts, he supplied the parts. £70 labour, didnt do the pump, just did as i was told!
From memory, a contitech cambelt kit and aux belt were about £70 in total.
Right, not sure if you can see it basically, there are 3 bolts on the tensioner, 2 x female torx bits, (star looking things) they go onto the spring of the tensioner, and then where the actual housing bolts into there is a bolt like that, but its going to be virtually impossible to see i would...
Money on it being the bolt that holds the aux belt tensioner on, i am hoping its recently been changed and its the old one, if its the new one you have a small problem!!
Could be due to something leaking onto the clutch also, ie rear crank seal leaking oil onto it, does it get better the more you drive? Either way the clutch will need replacing by the sounds of things.
Gearbox sounds like a wouldnt worry about it job to me, probably just weeping out of the joints, but make sure that is the case and not a gaitor!!
Sure he didn't say cracked ABS ring on the shaft??
FFs, he was like a little kid skipping around, the most excited person about an exhaust ever!!!
Fits really well, new hanger on the rear, sounds immense to be honest, i like it!!
If i had a car i would put mine on..........:(
