depends on how powerful your pressure washer is, and the dilute you dial in with the top adjuster on the top of the lance.
You can make it as thick or as watery as you want, but a more powerful washer will use less product to create a thick foam than a low pressure washer, meaning you have to...
beading under streetlight. rained last night so grabbed a quick phone picture before i left for work
paintwork feels very slick, similar again to Toughcoat. I really like this in a LSP as once the beads stsrt to run whilst driving the bonnet dried almost instantly at 40mph
I've always thought the industry missed the spot buy not creating a good looking, well handling, economic car. i can cope with something that is slow, providing you can enjoy driving it. so far I've never found it.
People claim that the VAG have done it but I don't agree, all the GT / FR etc...
seeing this makes me realise that the mk3 isnt all that bad! i hope the gloss black interior is an option you can choose not to have.
its alright i guess, but i would choose a fiesta over it at the moment
had my 182 from new, sold it 6 1/2 years 86,000miles later. serviced yearly by me / dad (a Renault mechanic)
Only faults I had with mine in that time were a sticky injector, 2nd O2 sensor played up causing EML, Battery coupling buckled internally so new battery, over sensitive internal alarm...
It filled more than spirit did, whilst still providing good clarity of the flake which I would have thought contradicts itself? Will be trying it side by side with Glasur next to compare application, but when comparing looks my cars are too swirled at the moment to get a clear view
Will forward...
A while back I had mentioned that I had received a prototype sample that is due to be released in 2013. Not sure if this will be part of or after the Autosport Show product release.
I believe this is more a show wax than all out durable type. Colour and scent are not finalised or considered in...
I've found that on my grubby cars normal citrus power sprayed on and pressure washed off works a little better than avalanche. Compared to other snow foams avalanche seems to be on par with most others I've tried
Go onto detailing world, group buy section.
Autobrite are running their lance reduced, and offer it with cheaper rated of snow foam. All you need to do when ordering is specify what pressure washer you have ie karcher, nilfisk etc
1:1 means 1 part equal to another part. Ie 250ml of quick detailer to 250ml of water.
Easy to use water based QD sprays have a look at the offerings from dodo juice, britemax and autofinesse. Zaino z6 is nice but some struggle with application as its a little thicker / oiled almost...
As good as DA backing plates get really. Only really rotary plates that you can get a decent improvement from. Comes with 5 and 6", but you'll need a 75mm / 3" plate for spot pads
What AF product was it that you used? As I used oblitarate today, sprayed onto the panal for a minute and it started to dissolve all the spots, then sprayed a little microfiber applicator and wiped off the remaining residue.
IMO it is at least on par with Tardis, if not reacts a little quicker
If it is brake dust, and iron x wont remove it I doubt a wheel cleaner will. Iron X paste is supposed to be a stronger option for localised areas. try a couple more hits with the normal iron x and a bit of aggitation.
Have a quick go with a tar remover also just incase it isn't brake dust.
