A lot of the JL stuff is overpriced though IMO (I have owned most of it!) The Type X Alpine stuff is very good quality - have a look online for some reviews ;) The high end JL stuff is very good though, but at that price, there is better stuff...

I would go go for one X Type sub over 2 R Types... Have you considered that as an option? I would personally go with the Alpine system...

Very good post - interesting reading for me as a prospective 182 purchaser. The other examples (LCR, FRS etc) cost more than £10k for a decent one, so I guess this is why they weren't on his list...?

Well said Pecan I have a Zetec-S and I must say the the Clio's gearbox is very poor in comparison. It has almost put me off buying one. The ZS feels more nimble as well IMHO

My Fiesta ZS does 240 miles to £32, so I'm hoping the Clio isn't any worse... which it sounds like it isn't Which is fookin sweet, given the considerable performance hike!!!
