I have an 07 plate Fiesta ST at the moment - that will go before the 09 plates come out (and I have 3 years NCB), and I will find the mintest 182 FF with Cup Packs I can, ideally with Recaro's.
I may even get a Trophy, but I don't like the colour :(
No more new cars for me though, the...
I got one too, mainly because of only having 2 years NCB insurance. I will be getting a 182/Trophy as soon as the insurance is reasonable.
It's a great car for what it is IMO.
I want to change my 07 plate Fiesta ST for an RS Clio, but I really don't know whether to go for a 55 plate 182 with Recaro's, or a 197 Cup.
I like the idea of a new car... but reading mags like Evo would suggest that the 182 is... dare I say it... 'better'
I don't like the colour of the...
My 1 week old Fiesta ST got egged not so long back - totally gutted, right in the middle of my bonnet.
It needs a respray ideally. I don't get the mentality of these assholes. They were in a dodgy P reg Corsa going in opposite direction :(
LOL! @ Dan!
Thanks guys - it kind of confirms my suspicions. Question now is, do I get a 182 with Cup Packs, or a Trophy?
The insurance was the main reason I went for the ST, as I only have 2 years NCB, but I can now get decent quotes on a 182.
Yeah I have, but mods like that never hold their value well, even though it is supported by Ford.
I would rather just get a 'standard' car and keep it that way.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
I have an 07 plate Fiesta ST, and I'm getting a bit bored of it, so I'm looking to change it soon.
I have always loved the 182, and especially the Trophy. I was wondering if anyone on here has made this switch, and if they have any regrets?
I tried a Corsa VXR and a Clio 197 too, but I...
I get 300 mins and 1000 texts on 3 for £30 a month.
I think Orange are the best on text deals, one of the silly animal named tariffs offers unlimited (3000) texts per month for £35 I think.
Most networks are shite these days.
I should probably sell some of these:
Nokia 6680
Nokia 8800
O2 XDA Mini-S
Nokia 6233
Nokia E65
Nokia 8600 Luna
The 8600 is my favourite, but 3 don't like me using a 2G phone on their 3G network, so I'm back on the E65 at the moment, but I truly hate it.
Do you other E65 owners have...
Voda have the 8GB for the first two months of its release, so you won't see it on other networks until January at the earliest :(
I'm holding out for the 8GB for my 3 renewal in Feb.
I have a desktop which is mainly for gaming, a laptop for surfing around the house, and a PDA for when I don't wanna boot the Lappy up...
Must get out more.
I was admiring that very same car earlier today, had a look at the 197 too, but I am defo going with a 182
Did you part ex yours in n9orme? I may just go and buy it ;)
Nope, not myself, but two of my mates have about 2 months ago.
I would have had one fitted to my Fiesta, but I'm changing it for a 182 next month, so there seemed little point.
I have seen his work on both cars, and it's absolutely faultless. Included in the price, he will come to...
The Toad can be priced anywhere upto £350, which is silly when you can readily get it for £250 fitted.
I would defo go for Toad over Laserline.
If you do go with that guy, give him a call on his mobile, bypass eBay, and he normally throws in a few extras...
There's a guy in Dudley that fits the Toad for £240
This is his advert on eBay

A couple of mates have used him, and he is very good.... ;)
I saw two Trophy 182's within minutes of each other on the M6 heading Northbound, between Junctions 5&6.
The first was HT05***
The second - T* PHY
Anyone on here??
Did you pass each other?
I think it's very good stuff too
The protection isn't as long lasting as say, a coat of 'normal' NXT, but for the amount of time it takes to apply and work with, it offers superb results IMHO
