Don't bother, they AREN'T chemical resistant no matter where you get them from. You need to use a normal spray bottle, put in the Tardis, use it, poor back into the tin, rinse out with water, spray through, and leave for next time.
yeah, I was having a look at it last night. Nice bit of kit, but £310 is quite steep. Do you need to use cambelt locking tools etc to fit the cup setup?
Re: Bomber's Savage Supercharged Snorting Slut of a Ph1
on the subject of bonnet release. Obviously the pin hold it down at the front, but what holds it down at the back? (stupid question I know :o)
dephasers have play in them anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much. That said, it sounds a bit dodgy if he can't change the dephaser.
What's the U shaped too on the other side of the engine? Thought that was the cam locking tool.
Would have been cheaper to buy a trophy and spray it black ;) Trophy groupy alert. I can't talk, i've got turinis and trendlines on mine. If only I have a trophy exhaust system to complete it :rasp:
you're not making a right lot of sense mate. If the original filter doesn't match the K&n, it won't fit. If it's a cone type, it will probably need an adapter as Gray said. Put pics up of the one you have and the current setup, and we'll tell you whats missing.
christ, this must be a first. The only detailing supplier I've never seen advertise free delivery. Must be struggling a little with the extra competition. It's annoying as they supply things others don't. About time imo.
^^^ using washers :S will the wheel sit right if you do that? Can you not just attach the shims to the disc? Otherwise, remove the stub axle I suppose.
if it's a ph1 box then it would have a different final drive. IIRC, the ph2 had the same boxes. There is less of a 5K kick in the ph1 (well the one I drove anyway). It felt like more of a linear acceleration throughout.
sounds like it's running a bit rich to me. Hard to tell, but you should be getting 29-33mpg really even with the occassional flooring on your private runway. As a bench mark, I got mine down to 16mpg with around 100miles at Oulton Park :D
