my friend had this problem and i could not believe that a standard usb cable would not work!!! Alpine have swapped over one of the connections iside so you need their cable!!! not cool lol
............Is this a serious question :S i have a 12 year old imac that will have a better build quality than a 3 year old compaq!!! FFS sorry but yea ummm theres kinda no comparison... at all lol
yep this is almost exaclty why my breaks were shocking, i wouldnt take anything away from the standard setup but if you try and brake hard in my car from anywhere close to three figures it will fade before you have stopped lol :S
So im quietly confident my new setup will be a world away from...
After lots of reading up and searching for decent pricing ive finally bit the bullet and ordered a few new bits:-
Ferodo Ds2500 - Auto-Nation for £108.99
Brembo Max discs - G 172 £70
Rear discs with bearings and ABS rings + pads - NWPerformance £110
(the day before they went to £90 d'oh)...
correct me if im wrong but i thought power wise having an airfilter like simota or maxogen wont yield any noticable gains, but a custom map would maximise the potential by adding more fuel at the end of the rev range.
Airfilter is often referred to as a supporting mod as it releases potential...
Probably look better with a lower profile tyre but at 35quid a corner :P im not complaining. Wheels were 200quid (without tyres) from magik wheels wooo :D
Hi guys, if i buy rear discs with bearing can i re-use my abs ring??
any thoughts on best place (ie cost effective) to pick up rear discs with all bits?
Many thanks
Mate i know!! but to be honest i never drive anywhere what i would consider the limit with passengers on bored :nono:
Guess its just human nature to look negatively on something you perceive has wronged you in someway (thats deep like Jeremy Kyle!!)
:o cheers pal, haha i know i know ;)...
Was heading home after work one sunday, was WITHIN the 50mph speed limit went round a corner the back let go and it was game over, i didnt think i was driving to fast until i was sliding sideways through trees thinking hmm it seems faster travelling sideways, then none of the airbags went off...
i let those rims go to the scrappy coz one was screwed and part of me didnt want to use them again for obvious reasons, but i kinda regret not using them :S tricky one
For sure understeer i can handle lol its the oversteer to violent opposite direction oversteer that ended my last clio :S tbh i crashed at a known accident black spot sooo...
Oh and i didnt roll it!! my car rolled up a tree :S nice lol
i believe they are 6.4kg a wheel at there lowest offset but all i know is they are alot lighter than standards.
Paradas are absolutely fine if not very very good but the problem is they are a jekyll and hyde, so good in the dry and so bad in the wet ive had some worrying experiences with...
i would say def split, you'll maximise your return and people often like to buy standard cars plus you can always offer the bits to the guy who buys the car!! :D simples
Got my new pro race 1"s in anthracite today!! got them wrapped in yokohama parada's.. umm dont search for my previous posts coz you'll find pages and pages of me slating parada's after i blamed them for my only car crash in 11 years :P but i know there strengths and i now no there weakness's lol...
sounds like its the infrastructure that is the weak point... could be hard work getting bt to fix the issue if its one person being affected :S
Soz dont mean to put a downer on things, i'd love to be wrong tho!! :P
I need new rear discs on my 182, its done 59k is it best to change both the discs and bearings? do i have a choice?
Any help would be appreciated many thanks.
