I checked my dampers and they were dry, is there another way of noticing leaking dampers?

When higher in the revs i hear a rattle, it's coming from the engine bay but maybe more to the left? is this normal? Also i've noticed a burning smell a few times in the past 2 days of ownership. I've searched this and it seems like the alternator is going but thats more or a whining...

It doesn't handle that bad but i've understood that the handling should be alot better than it is, it slides ever so easy round corners. It could be the roads at this time of year but if theres anyone in coventry that owns a 182 ff and wants a little go in my car then let me know

Although i've only had it a day i've heard nothing from my 182, actually quite suprised! My 1.2 was a b*****d but i put bluetack on most of the clips inside the pillar covers and that stopped it quite a bit. I also found turning the music up normally made it worse because the bass would cause...
