thats fekin awesome. just like the rear shot. a black 172/182 has to be that low or simular. just makes it look so much more purposeful and supercar like.
or maybe a bit higher by a few cms but you get the point it looks mint a bit like an old mini in stance. my 172 on konis is quite low at the back but its not proper low like this.
whats the minimum you can go without clipping speed bumps or rubbing arches.. 60mm seems a good balance...
yea before my bro got his fabia he had a TDCI Zetec S 18" + strut. 180hp tuning box + lowered 30mm on eibachs.. i saw it take a tight sweeping bend at 95mph it was unreal and thats with a heavy iron diesel engine in the front. the 2.0 zetec petrol before that had much faster crisper steering...

the ST220 is around three years old at this price and has on average 30k miles but i know there are some gems out there you just have to look hard.
then there is the gsi astra with 197hp which are avalible £10k 2003 only two...
the only thing i noticed in that picture was a racing blue 182. every shot whether its a group shot or has v6s in i always notice the racing blue.
best colour to stand out.
btw stripes are a bit pump but not so bad as to get rid of them. it makes you look a little bit like your trying...
unless you do the right thing and buy a full fat 182 with recaros then you have a lux model hehe.
if i get a 182 nxt then il be buying used 182 low milege full fat and adding after market recaros but with the rears matched in colour...
dont forget the atom featured on top gear had around 200hp i believe the atom in this test has miles more torque constantly avaliable from a supercharger and 300 BHP !! so no that 100 extra ponies + torque on a lightweight car is equivelent to around another 300bhp at lest.

anyone actually tried the reverse of stripping and making the car more hardcore. by getting really plush recliners (still lighter than standard) + subtle lowering ?

also seen as the reacors only drop a pesky 1cm lowered than the standard seats whats the drop if you were to buy trendlines after market from recaro and install ? is 1cm the lowest these and other recliners will go ????

buy a full fat 182. have ALL the toys. get recaors and save over 30kgs in weight hence actually lighter than a standard 182cup then and you will have sexy recaros + really nice rear leather/alcantara seats with headrests.
maybe get a v6 spoiler ? (dunno which i prefer)...

182 full fat + recaros racing blue/inferno pref to replace my 172MKII
But failing that an Audi S3 225 tuned to 300hp + huge induction + dumpvalve with fat wheels and lowered.
both would be just as good as each other. but id prefer the 182 over the s3 in all honesty.

although gheys will slap a superchip + zorst + dumpvalve on the new turbo corsa it will still probably be lighter than a 182 and with those inevitable chav mods will be faster and produce near 200hp
same for the new mitsubishi turbo + smart turbo...
thats the big question. for some the speed will never be enough. but hark back to your parents old cars and your first car and compared to those the 172 is a rocket ship well its certainly faster than my ol 1.0 polo. I think people are used to speed now.. but honestly overtaking safely doesnt...
