£500 is too steep. have a look at dragon performance they do the best tunit / plug in boxs for diesels. my bros old TDCI 130 pushed 180 with a dragon performance box but it smoked more than a cuban. turning it down with a tooth pick under the bonnet to 170 gave no smoke but still huge...

my bro has the pd130 (actually 140 on rollers stock) and it does 27mpg once remapped but the bonus is there if your willing to drive slower of upto 50mpg.

i have to say ever time ive seen 17s on a KII clio wether its a 1.2 or 2.0 they look mint shame the duff up performance but i think there a good idea for looks.

yea but the DCI and rare 2.0 T 165hp versions get the nice nissan 6 speed box and they get better uprated brakes also. its just the steering thats naff but i imagine if you could pursuade reno they would reduce assistance via the computer for you.

dont know the exact details but hes removed some of the front lower bumper. hes on brisk skoda (hellfire) if you wanna PM him or post a message the only thing he hasnt got is a miltek exhaust and a FMIC as the vrss is tiny just like the audi TTs but you wont have to worry about intercooler size...
thing is the vrs is only grp 8 insurance so you can get nearly 182 pace for cheap. and fuel can be upto 45-50mpg.. a 182 can keep pace with a wrx to 100 so for a derv skoda to nearly keep pace with a 182 is saying something.

the v6 as mentioned above has poor brakes isnt balanced and although has lots of grip once you exceed those limits your in trouble.
