Imo, you'll never properly clean a ITG. It has some sort of thick dirt retaining tar stuff deep in the sponge. You'll never clean that of crap?

Wouldnt bother personally. Induction kits tend to induce (even more ;)) flat spots on them. Imo changing the paper filter often is more of a benifit, even over say an ITG replacement.
