exactly. You could by a 172 for example with eibach proline springs. Now, these are black, pretty much o.e height, no real way of telling. What happens then?
And lol at painted calipers.
No such thing as a free lunch. Nitty £200 coilovers will end in failure. Its a matter of time. Think about it, you cant even buy quality springs (eibach) for less than £140. Apparently (i've read on here) the raceland stuff trade is £90. So thats x4 dampers and x4 springs...... hmmmmm
Yep, some 'tuners' will deny it. Think some might have got around it now, but it happened on mine for sure, and if you search over on RS there were a few threads running about it.
RB doesnt suit the MK3 shape imo. Never seen a good looking RB 197/200.
Anyway, agree, the 197 used to get so much love:(. Never used to think mine looked anything special, but when you see one on the road-awesome. Squat and wide. For the segment its in, nothing comes close for presence imo
Very clean Cup, mine wont be far off that in the next month. Silver bullets or don't bother for me..... the whole badge painting thing cheapens the look imo If your thinking about lowering don't go for cheap coilovers, spend the money that you say you have. Forget the forced induction set up...
