Re: Austin-182 progress thread (2 years late) get some camber bolts and a full allignment done on it mate to stop these new tyres getting burnt out on outer tread due to your postivie camber

For comparison 30-110 there will be nothing in it, after that the mini will have a very very slight edge. I had a play on with a 172 ph1 and won and also kevs healthy 182

Sorry sweetheart but when we went side by side in my mini vs your very healthy 182 I remember pulling away from you in 5th and I had an extra passenger. I know which one I'd rather have and it wouldn't be the 182 unless a trophy

Ofcourse it is, its blatently obvious, look at his finger movements etc and the speed the passengers arm flings up in the air when he nearly stuffs it.

You're correct. My mate has them on his and they've been fine. I'm just going to put It very low then for the brief 3-4 weeks of sun we get a year I will switch over to the sachs and enjoy them. I need to save up to get the sachs refurbed and unpinned but the engine is going to cost £1000+ to...

Re: Project 172k Trophy, & its endless track abuse I know it's a trek but I've been looking for a good place to set up the trophy for ages, got my rs2's on soon with the 2118s and have my camber bolts still to fit. What sort of cash did you pay for the allignment mate?

Custom remap Matched inlets Good air filter Exhaust De-cat make sure its been serviced with propper parts and the timing is right and you may be somewhere in the region of 175-180

It looks very well as always, but nothing seems to have changed in the looks department for the last year or so, are you not getting a bit bored of it? I've seen some of the styles you like and think you could easily employ some of that on the RB as the white turini crack is just getting...

Being weighing this one up for a while now. I never use my air con and from what I hear its just dead weight being carried around. To the people who have removed it has it made much of a difference in performance and power output? Cheers

Are you running willwoods like the ones oliver.james has? How do you compare them to say standard set up with brembo disks and ds2500 pads?
