I've been thinking about them dave but didn't get a good offer on the sachs and eibach springs as a trade lol
Think the turini's are going up for sale today, I prefer to keep the 16's for looks (show pony) ;) how do you find the h+r#s compared to the sachs in your most honest opinion
They may be up for sale if I decide to go ahead with the above, was going to keep them but completely bored of how it looks now and sick of being the same as every other one. I didnt like it being the same as the other two at the last meet
Put this little foot rest on the other day, its still sat in the garage waiting to get the engine sorted out but atm funds arent allowing...
Soon there should be an update in the view of a k-tec supersports exhaust, de-cat back.
Also been looking at these to upgrade to..... getting really...
I'm going to use the meg 225 set up anyway, the safer the better tbh and one day it might get boosted if I feel stupid enough to put a few more grand into it
You best believe it lol lesson well and truely learnt. It's going to a propper Engineering place who specialise in building competition engines etc so it should be in safe hands. We've had plenty of work done off the company in the past and they've been spot on. I'm going to scrap the standard...
Well its engine failure and one of the pistons has been damaged so thinking it will have to be bored out slightly. Have been told by someone that the F4R bottom end doesnt take kindly to being opened up that's all, so want to be certain it's the right thing to do and it will be reliable
Not really from a performance perspective just wondering if the F4R block handled being opened up. Were 'said' cars reliable etc afterwards. My car is a daily so it needs to work fine lol
How would the car run bored out with standard cams and intake but once ran in custom mapped?
Re: York Raceway on Easter Weekend
It blew up the day after mate, that was the first time I'd really enjoyed the power again after covering 350 miles in it
Need to get it rebuilt now though :(
I hate trophy's with colour coded engine covers, looks tacky imo.
I'd get the inlets, plennum and injector rail cover painted either silver or grey then maybe a nice silver or black cover
I used to love thrashing my mini cooper s, the gear change felt sturdy, engine used to engine whining all the way to 7k :) I can't wait to get another supercharger
Re: The car you wish you never sold... What were they?
Pretty much all of my cars tbh but If it had to be a top four that I wish I'd kept it would be:
Should've kept this until I could insure it, was only 16 at the time though, a sad day :(
My first car:
One of the cleanest S1's I'd...
