They don't make as much as you'd imagine, a lot of costs involved: insurance, car purchase/lease, petrol, etc, etc. Not a badly paid job, but not an instant money-maker.
Nope, sold about 6months/a year ago now. Think it was a very difficult decision which he didn't want to have to do and so doesn't want to remind himself of his old baby.
He now has an old red Hyundai Coupe, which is just as nice... ahem.
Unlucky, this is why I will never bother forking out the £100 to fit on these to my car, I know it would be smashed up in a matter of weeks.
And £4k for a Mk1 VR6 conversion!?! It better have been a minter.
As said, the cameras don't read the disc, but a copper can pull you if they arent able to see the disc in the screen.
My original holder has lost all stickiness after a 'helpful' girlfriend decided to lick it before sticking back on the windscreen - it now just sits on the dash.
I've always...
There's a Cooper S learner car around us that I se quite often.
My 172 is the only car my girlfriend's ever been insured on, passed her test over a year ago and never had anything like an issue with her driving, the car's performance or handling.

I'm sure there is a specific type of masking tape just for 'detailing' but as long as it had good tackiness and you can remove days later, it really doesn't matter.
Nice, I think it suits the back end but looks a bit 'small' compared to the monstrous front end, but then I've always thought the 197 is a bit out of proportion front to back.
I think these cars will be everywhere on CS when the price drops a few grand...
I thought for a minute that Rich had driven his car in that weather, then common sense prevailed.
Nice turnout for the short notice, a bit far for me this time. See most of you next week. :)

Stupid things.

Any 'tricks' anyone's got for getting them off? Need to give them a proper clean.
The easiest place to get clay is at Halfords - Megs Quik Clay or something.
As for PC'ing, PC stands for Porter Cable, which is a manufacturer of a random orbital polisher. I'd suggest that any old polisher will not do as if you use a rotary as a novice, you'll probably end up making your...
Goes straight on, as said above.
If you're going to change your rear lights, then ph2 is the way forward. Anything aftermarket will get flamed on here unfortunately. But do what you want, it's your car and nobody elses.
The ph2 rears will need rewiring though, easy job.
I'm still a fan of Megs Endurance, been using that for over 2 years now I think. It can get very mucky, but as long as it's given time to cure and then the tyre buffed, gives a deep natural finish that lasts well in my opinion.
Well I ended up having a productive day today. Decided that I;d never have enough time to do everything I want on Friday, so washed, clayed, polished and sealed her today.
Hopefully this'll mean a few less steps to complete next time...
^ Unlikely, poorly judged speed in the wet around a bend...
Sorry to hear mate, July is not normally what would be described as the culling season but this weather's making things interesting to say the least. :(
