To make it completely stealth, you want another layer of thin wood over the top of your parcel shelf, to hide the bulges that the speakers make. With the cutouts around the speakers.
I'd guess any breathable cotton material will be fine as a cover.
Over a fairly large area, would you suggest passing the spray over the area and very gradually building up layers? ie: If a bit is missed or not coated heavily enough, just leave and spray again once the current layer is dry, NOT try to spray that particular area?
I'd imagine if you try to...
It's all well and good a tyre fitters saying it's fine, but it's not their safety / neck on the line if it goes pop mid-way through a track day.
I've got plenty of nicks in the tyre wall on my fronts, and it's fine for steady daily driving, but I wouldn't trust that under any significant...
You don't need to display the sticker, just the 'Club' pass and your entry ticket.
If you just turn up on the day then I don't think you'll be allowed on the stand and they need confirmed numbers of stand attendees to allocate spaces.
If you're not there by the time it's opened to the public then you won't be able to get onto the stand - the idea being that people aren't driving around the pedestrians...
... until idiots start cruising around in a lame attempt to look cool.
I honestly don't know, but I'd imagine you have to unbolt the original mirror by removing the interior doorcard to reveal the bolts that's holding on the mirror.
Once unbolted, it should just pop off. Change over the mirror, reconnect all the relevant bits, and bolt back on.
Ah, that'll do. So just a case of mixing up about a fifth of the bottle with a gallon of water in a spray bottle and then it acts as a QD/waterless wash/wipe?
Ah right, think that'll still be too much effort! Yeah the Poorboys I had was effectively a QD, didn't seem to suffer swirls on mine. But then... that's probably the cause of them now!
What's QEW Rich? I need a decent waterless wash for after the drive up. I know it really should be washed again, but I've got enough swirls to not worry about now!
I've used a Poorboy's waterless wash before which has been very good, but have run out now.
Lol, I think that's par for the course for any of us that clean our car with 2 buckets, a woolly mit, dry with a towel and then still do more work to it! I get my sarcy comments from the parents and missus.
I'm only giving myself the Friday before FCS to get the car ready, might clean in the...
Lol, a very bold statement by Lusty which I fear will end in tears when the big boys with their PC's and OCD turn up...
I, however, will be looking to win no competitions, can't even be bothered to PC it this year.
I'm trying a bit of anthracite mate, I figure if I c0ck it up, then I'll get them refurbed properly in titanium, if I do a decent job then I'll keep the anthracite!
Well, Peugeot Cossack Grey or something, but it looks pretty similar.
Lol, can't beat a bit of Nankang quality!
The 185/55's are definitely noticably different to my 195/50's, even when driving normally. The steering's lighter and 'wobbly'!
Dude, you alright if I return them on FCS weekend, or would you rather keep your car clear of clutter then?
Looks nice, a little too much going on for me, but everything looks well done.
But why is someone called Jamie selling it via Pistonheads!?!
Oh, and it's got Ph2 sidestrips, but just not colourcoded - they need spraying!
