I've been tempted too I must admit. The rears sit a little high on mine but the fronts are literally perfect I don't see how it could go any lower. The wheel would be in the arch if so.
Car looks fantastic. Seems to be a good little track weapon too.
What's the engine and suspension spec?
I don't know what that popping noise is but if it's the exhaust that would drive me insane!
LOL. I'm so skinny I can just turn sidways and be out of sight like a ninja!
I think you were actually sitting in the car at the time!
That was before the journey home though too so a few miles more to add on.
Happened to me twice at Bedford on Saturday. Well at least I'm sure it was this.
s**t scary when your racing along and then all of a sudden the revs shoot up and bounce off the limiter!
Found one. Just as a reference for anyone else looking in the future and to close this thread off. Burton were the cheapest place I could find at £97 including VAT for a 1L tank in brushed aluminium.
Jesus Christ use full stops man LOL. So hard to read I pretty much gave up.
If you want it to be perfect on track then there are so so many things you can change or upgrade.
Firstly what is the actual benefit of removing the air con? Is it just the weight saving? Or does it actually sap power? Are we talking like 1-2bhp or more?
Then, what kits are out there to use? The only one I think I've come across is the Pure Motorsport one. Is this any good? Well...
Yeah, seats with head/neck supports (the wrap around bits) are apparently not allowed on the ring public days. Not sure about closed track days though.
So random. Least you've managed to pretty much clear it up though. I did always wonder myself.
But that does mean a pre 2002 cup would have the lower castor ones then? Which is surprising!
