Definitely start doing track days. I'm addicted and can't get enough of them!
You just need to weigh up whether you want to cash in and have some money spare for upgrades, but also potential for little things to pop up. Could end up finding an ideal cheap 172 though that has nothing wrong...
Go for it, you're only young once!!
What's your reasoning for selling the 182 and getting a PH1? Guessing you could get about £2.5k cash back and use that to fund some upgrades? And strip the PH1 to the bare metal rather than ruining a more modern and valuable car?
Obviously though changing...
Why did you sell the flamer? Looked immaculate!
New car looks good though :) easy to keep clean! What exhaust system has it got currently?
Can't believe how much difference silvervisions make, would you mind sending me over a link to where you got them please :)
That's pretty much exactly what I was aiming for Chip.
Pipework directly to the discs. Rather than just a hole through the arch liners, which I don't have in place currently anyway.
Probably massive over kill for my brakes. Just something I want to get out of the way whilst I've got free...
I don't have any arch liners in place now though. So I'd potentially need some pipework which was less flimsy to stay in place. Obviously I'd do what I could to hold it into place with what's around there.
I would like to 'attempt' to fit some sort of ducting for the brakes.
Haven't done any searches as of yet apart from a few Google clicks.
Thought before I start I'd just see if anyone has all the info to hand which they would be able to share :) or to point me in the right direction..
How...
I paid £482 for mine fitted. That was with two brand new exhaust hangers though.
£533 here with a decat included. But you'd have to fit it yourself or pay someone.
I changed my cat to decat in about 30 minutes. It was the first time I had ever done one too. The hardest part was pulling the centre section down enough to slip the end of the decat inside.
I've got a milltek with decat. It's only 2-3db louder than with the sports cat.
I love my system. I think it sounds the dogs danglies!!
You won't need a remap for the sports cat though. And just for reference their cat is 100cel.
Still got my one a home in my room.
Isn't the OMP subframe the lowest sitting one? Apart from a custom build obviously. That's what I've got in mine and I'm well happy with it to be honest.
This one...
Sorry that's what I meant.
I don't know, I don't have one sorry. I just know it's an alternative to Whatsapp so maybe the Ipad will have that instead...
Is it?
My 100 cell Milltek cat was £303
The Pure M stuff looks good though, they have recorded all the weights and DB readings for each system too which I like.
Think I caught the plate.
Saw you driving along the Addiscombe Road in Croydon this morning at about 6.10.
I know you're on here as I saw the CS sticker on the back window this time ;)
You won't ruin the handling. It's an improvement n my opinion, I like a stiff car though.
Eibach springs are awesome. But if you want a little bit lower, go for the new Cooksport springs.
