    Anyone reckon the World's obesity levels have driven car makers to make massive, safer cars? The 205 next to the 207 is just comical! This average 80's 25 year old is probably about 2 stone lighter than today's version. Maybe our cars are just following suit.

    Cooper S vs 182

    Yes, 1.6 turbo (new) supercharged (old) The old MCS is slower to 100 by approx couple of secs than 182. Doesn't mean much in terms of everyday driving.

    They ain't roomy in the back! I had to do about a 2 hour journey in the back of one once and I couldn't feel my legs after 10 minutes! They are reasonably quick until they get loaded up with people and bags in the boot. Then they really struggle. Looks okay in black! Not too common.
