The designer just wanted to beat the Veyron to 200, which he did and beat the top speed, which he did. It's not meant to be a luxury car.
Veyron is still the better car, maybe the best. Saying that, the 9ff dude hasn't finished with this car yet.
Are you saying the more revenue 5th gear get from the VW means they will drive the Golf faster/better in order to make it appear faster/better than the rival car? In this case, a WRX.
Asda? Daily Mirror? What you on about? So if Citroen for example pay a shed more than BMW, for example, a C3...
That depends on the person who is driving. It's a matter of opinion. Nippy means that the person driving thinks it's quick.
Anyone driving a 197 etc that has come from a 1.2 or something will think it's fast. Someone coming from an S3 etc will not find it fast.
I just hate the term 'nippy'
Chipping is more a set ECU that is standard, like a Superchip. Remapping sets the ECU to that particular car, as no two cars are identical. Like a Unichip. (as far as I know)
You will not see much of a diiference between the two, I don't think.
"Very much even car upto 3rd gear and the Clio just leaves it..! :rasp:"
Not in my experience. 1st gear and it's all over!
The 172 makes the ST look fairly amateur. 180 ST is circa £3K. Stick £3K on a Sport and see what happens!
Flexi cover is very basic though. By the time I've added all the parts I want, it's the same price as the regular Bell quote, and you get some other parts added on, like Euro cover etc.
Madness - £1000 excess on a £2.2K policy!!! You are either completely minted or completely mad.
Why not drive a car that will insure you? I've got to laugh at people who consider paying that for a Clio. You will have paid around £2K on insurance, at least £1K on fuel and £205 on tax for a...
Anyone used them before?
Just renewed through them for £230. £150 excess.
No other insurers got close, apart from Tesco pretend insurance that gives you the most basic policy available.
Yeah, the Highway Code's first rule is "Your car might have a limiter, try not to hit it!"...give the lad a break! It doesn't make you bad driver and I don't remember my instructor ever asking me to rev the car so that the limiter kicks in.
Black-Clio-1.4 is probably a better driver than you...
I know what you mean. I bought a Saxo VTR as my first car - my mate buys a VTS a month later. Although, neither of us were paying 2K for insurance. More like £600 and £800. Even that annoyed the t*ts off me!
£250 on my Cup last year. Renewal is now £280. I will beat it!
