E Bay price hike for discs when they realised they would fit a Clio.

More than likely they put their price up when they realised they have just given the discs away at not much more than cost as they haven't checked/updated their cost and sell prices for a couple of years tbh. They have both gone up but I have kept them the same for you lot Just so people know...

I've got a 172cup for track days, what's the best way to gain say 10-15 hp ?

^ they are two different things mate: RS Tuning is in Leeds with rolling road RS Tuner is "DIY" Have a search plenty of info on both, there's a good guide on the latter but you may have to be a full member to view it. Only £12 and very worthwhile doing so!

    Forge's Clio 182FF RB

Looks nice and clean that :approve: Bonus it comes with two sets of alloys If you wanted to drop down to 15inch wheels for track work (cheaper tyres and I preferred the handling on the smaller wheels) you wouldn't have any bother shifting those alloys on

fast road/ track discs and pads set up

Have a search, gets covered a fair bit As with tyres people have different preferences but stick with the bigger names and you won't go far wrong

    Handling

I'd check tyre pressure first. May be obvious but have you gone from premium tyres to budget as obviously that will have an effect on handling/road holding

    Painting turinis

I'd just ask them for the brightest silver they have tbh

new to the clio world and need a little advice.

Welcome! Shouldn't fail if working properly ie no sticky calipers etc. If they say it has low rear brake effort, that's normal Show them page 8 of this link: http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20130102233509/http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/repository/MoT%20Issue%2031%20-%20Apr%202006.pdf

    Brembo HC disks

Glad you're happy with them. Mick really likes the Brembo discs and Brembo oem pads, as I do Clean them with brake cleaner and then like you say can mask off with paper/cardboard "discs", and give them a light coating of high temp spray paint. The pads will clean up any overspray during...
