Hot hatches shouldn't need turbos. And the fact that the VXR can't handle the power/torque it has already shows why it's not a great hot hatch. For me it would always be handling over power. Not that the 197 is the final answer in handling. The VXR will be a MaxPower hero. Enough said.

The Corsa tries too hard and isn't the car an R27 is. It's got no class about it, like any of the VXR's. Vauxhall seems to think adding a turbo to their cars makes them good. They mostly suck and look too chav-tastic.

If you lose, who cares? It's been heavily modified. This applies to any car that has been modded. Doesn't make a better car because it's a bit faster.

Orange looks w@nk! Quite nice cars but I would rather have the Civic or Megane. The Volvo 5 pot is a powerful engine, if a little heavy for the ST.

Engines are fairly solid. A lot better than an MG engine, but that isn't hard!

I would leave that type of stuff to the Navigators and Escalades, biatches!

You have to drive them both and decide. Both cars handle well and are roughly the same in terms of performance. 197 will cost a bit more.

I tested the Ibiza 130 Tdi and I was impressed with the pull it had. Just a pity the guys at Seat were complete tossers and thought I was wasting their time. 172 it is then!

Easy chap! I know they can be quick. I just wanted to point out that there is no point discussing whether it's remapped, or whatever because either car may have had a crap start, so the race outcome means nothing. If it isn't a 197, that Ibiza is slow!

As above....NONE! It will just sound different. Losing weight is your best mod. (Not you, the car!)

Took the aeriel off for less weight and drag. Now 0-60 in 5 secs I reckon.

That trick is insane! BMXers don't get that high for a start. No comparison imo. You have to be seriously nuts to try that $hit. Doing a double back somersault off a trampet is tough enough!

Rear brakes do feck all, do the front first with the cash you have. That way, you can spend a bit more on better pads and discs, as noted above.

I resorted back to a standard exhaust as the 'not much louder' exhaust I added was loud enough to sound pi$h and annoy me!
