I used a proper wiper arm puller to get mine off, it got so tight i couldnt tighten it anymore by hand, so got a spanner over the rod for extra leverage! It went with such a bang i thought the screen had broken!!!! My advise, soak it in WD40 over night!

Sucks water into the cylinder, you cant compress water when the piston rises, so it bends the rod!:)

PM 197gaz off here, he ran a decat on his standard exhaust for a bit, it did change the note, but only ever so slightly! Nothing to worry about at all!

The aux belt is not always recognised by renault at 36K Basically in a few cases the aux belt has failed, wrapped itself around the crank pulley and ended up with bent valves!! In my opinion, get the auxiliary belt done! Prevention is better than cure as they say.

99% of the time it is the connector blocks under the seat mate, he needs to either cut the blocks out and solder the wires together, or get a garage / some one who knows what there doing to do it!! If he does it himself, make sure he disconnects the battery and leaves it 15 mins before starting...

Is there any other lights on? usually its the airbag light and serv light?! its telling you there is a fault logged!
