Just had a quick go with the wheel. Even with all the driver aids turned off it feels alot easier to control than GTR did, but that could be car selections or maybe they've set them up to be quite easy to drive in the demo.
The game feels a hell of a lot faster and smoother. Even at it's...
If you can get the first one cheap it's an amazing game. I prefer GT Legends though at the moment. All that arse out action in some classic cars.
Maybe get that then get GTR2 later, rather than having two very similar games.
Just had a quick go at the demo. It sounds amazing as always, graphically it's an improvement over the last one that's for sure.
I tried it on keyboard as attaching a wheel to my desk during the day wouldn't do down too well. I'll try it again at 5.30 with a wheel.
It depends what type of game you like to play and what spec your PC is.
For me probably the biggest thing the 360 brings to the table is Xbox Live. It really is spot on. I game with people off here and from work and it's so easy. Even if you aren't gaming with someone you can still chat to...
He even left me on hold while he went off to speak to the underwriter. Then he said he couldn't tell me what I'd get back if I cancelled and that I'd be charged £6 for cancelling.
Spoken like Apu from the Simpsons!! "No sir, we cannot cover you on an Elise as you have two convictions and are not 30 yet". WTF c***s c***s c***s. It's even the same group as the Trophy.
Every other fucker on the planet will cover me.
Demo's up tonight by the looks of things.
I used to love the original GTR addon, then the Official GTR and GTL is amazing, I still play that at lunch at work.
I don't think I can face another full on GTR at the moment. I don't have the time to setup cars etc.
I'll see if they dumb it down...
Same here. I can't fault them.
My only gripe at the moment is I get capped at 12gb per month peak rate 4pm - 12pm I think, and if I exceed 15gb they start blocking certain services. It's hardly the end of the worlds as it's just P2P stuff (p**n and warez), but none of those restrictions used...
I think it depends what people are refering to when they refer to the "ride".
In terms of ride comfort it's by far the worst Clio to date, where as in every other respect excels. It's not a comofortable car when driving in and out of work on bad roads.
If you are seen to be racing you'll be kicked out if it's a properly run trackday. Or at the very least pulled off the track until there's a gap between the cars.
It amazes me how they've both had two owners and done so few miles. I guess there's been a few people buy them based on reviews and then found them to be a little bit too hardcore.
I hope they took pictures of the side without the runs in the paintwork. I bet he's like Maria Carey, you can only take pictures of the not so bad side. lol
4 new Multiplayer maps and all the original multiplayer maps relit and played at a different time of day. There's also some new weapons.
I don't think there's much new in the single player game.
I'm not sure it's worth 1200 credits, but I'm enjoying it. Me and a load of the guys from work...
I've only ever used it to access data on an XP Pro machine, but at the very least you should be able to view the contents of the hard drives.
It's fairly easy to build the CD/DVD too.
I think I'll do myself a new one now. Mine is a few years old!
I was going to mention that.
You can boot from CD/DVD with a version of XP running. I've got one here I sometimes use to get at stuff on NTFS partitions.
Built it useing PE Builder. Standalone XP. I can't see you getting past Security on the drives if it's configured correctly. Worth a go...
