i went from a gt tdi 130 golf to the 172 .................yes the golf was fast but it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring to drive sothe 172 is way better and if you rev high in it you will get the same acceraltion out of the 172 as you cud with the 'turbo' diesel golf............and...

yeah he does............far too alike him! but i dont think alot of ppl with know who you are going on about

i found out that i had autolights the other day was well confused we my lights suddenly turned on wen i turned the key!

they are only legal if the car is younger than 1990 over here but they are very they dont really crack down on them toomuch

must say i try my best to get vpower in the 172......alot of difference on the revs and the engine seems a bit lumpy on normal unleaded...... as above it cleans the enginen and somehow lasts longer

i aint converted but i must say they look best in red or yellow!

may be due to having a couple of 'incidents' a few years back......also my fellas on it......3 points but they are nearly off

this happened to my RS wen i 1st bought it.......i took it back and told them and they sed that it didnt squeek for them, took it back again and again and again untill they eventually worn down to the mental......not sure wot the exact problem was as they fixed it for free so didnt really want...

Right ive had a good search and cant find one which says wot ppl think are the best. Want one that can be fitted myself as i live in the isle of man, not too loud but a bit of noise..........dont want a stealth either so would do u recommend best value for money

hell yeah u must all be paying abput £500 a mth on insurance if ur 19 with a 172/182! I had a 106 qs wen i was 19 then bought a yellow 106 gti with my fella but everyone took the piss with his and her cars! bought the 172 wen i was 23 and the insuance is still just under a grand
