Rear passager side knock

on full lock there is a knock we im on full lock or reversing.........any ideas?

i just solved a mysterious knock on my ph1 and took aaaaaaages to work out wat was without gettin stung by garages.

Yep as ballbag said it may take a while to work out, well until edde or someone will come and say straight away lol.

i was thinking aint cv joints and engine mounts on the front but im a girl and not a mechanic so wasnt going to say anything

its just bin through a test so shouldnt they have picked up that it was the anti roll bar

YES should have tho my reno garge didnt see mine till they checked and realise mine was completey MISSING :0

I have a similar knocking noise from the rear passenger side. It went through an MOT not long back and nothing was found. It generally only happens when turning (i think). Its very annoying, i can't see anything wrong, but then again im not mechanically minded.

I love to know if you fix this problem.

Sarah check your rear shocks and rear springs, both common failures on Clios if the springs just broken at the top garages could miss it etc on on MOT.

As tom said check the rear springs also check the wheels are on tight but damper failure or a loose nut on the top of the shock migh also be possible.

Figured out where my knocking was coming from. I adjusted my exhaust last week and I haven't one since "touch wood".

I'd go with that, nothing on the rear really that'll only knock on full lock/reversing. Probably the front struts and the sounds just getting relayed somehow.
