Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (Spaced, streched, slammed more)
Still too thin for my liking mate, I've been looking at running 15x8s all round and just run 195 rubber to get a light stretch
Yeah had a quick browse around it, I love'd the cars with the awesome stance's, the green 'roco being one of my favourite's
Really liking the TT's atm, the rears on them seem to camber in just when lowered, not sure if they were running shims or not but they did look awesome :D
Im arranging this on a few of the 106/saxo forums so thought would be good to get the clio boys along for a bit of banter

I went yesterday, TBH I was disapointed, was expecting to see some new innovative idea's being done but it just appears to be the same as Ed38 last year
Too many cheque book cars nowadays in the VW scene, and too many chav's getting involved, its not like the old school, people just buy a set...
Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (stealth fitted, fk rear lights and rear bumper)
Loving the way this project is going mate, good on you
I cant help but feel the ronals arent wide enough for the way this car is going, could you not get a set of 8's all round on there? or maybe run a staggered...
When I had my K4M 16v megane I had a de-cat back system and had the inlet manifold ported and polished with a custom filter set up
Cant say i noticed much difference at all
Manifold is meant to make a considerable difference
I'd be very interested to see this
As for the OP
Ive ran just a de-cat on my ph1 for quite some time, I did see improvements, Since fitting a BTB cat back exhaust with it, Ive noticed now its carbon'd up its pulling very well
For a performance comparison, with the exhaust on its as...

Oh it will be getting the suspension sorted eventually but when you've got £10k+ in a car you doubt about throwing another 3-4k into it just to make it handle
My clio is on coilovers and with whiteline rear ARB, theres nothing that i know of around my area that can keep up with it through the...
looks nice mate, I think the ph2 rear bumper makes it look more 'sport' ish and adds clean smooth lines to the rear end,
I think the ph2 rear goes nicely with the angry front end
We've not really went hell for leather against eachother but on the straights it pulls away from the clio, but show it a corner and the clio gets its own back :rasp:
cant say ive ever had much hassle beating them in my ph1, i would imagine if you get it mapped with a raised rev limiter you may be able to get over the line in 3rd
Well over the weekend it appeared the weather was looking fine, so we decided for sunday we would clean the cars and go to the local 'spot' for some pics
