Okay, great! Got a few questions I want to ask before I get started!
1. When I rinse the car after de-tar/de-iron, 'rinse' do I need to dry it before I clay? NO, wash / rinse after claying ideally
Just a bit worried I might end up with water spots if the water dries on panels before I get to...
that's more down to the spray head, you really don't need to use that much for it to be effective. I used it on a Megane Cabriolet yesterday and gave the full body a pre spray, and also used it for clean shut lines, badges, organic spots on the hood and used maybe 100ml max. A little is very...
it's all in the name;) think off oblitarate as an expensive version of autosmart's tardis. I'm yet to use it but it's getting good reviews.
I believe carpro / Cquartz and concourse car care have / are releasing a combined tar and iron remover in one.
autobrite magnifoam and super snow foam are pretty good, I got them both with my lance. Most of it comes down to the pressure / flow rate of the pressure washer. Should need no more than 1" in the bottle filled with water. Mine doesn't last very long. with a good pressure washer you'll get...
FLOL at BWAB, makes me smile every time I hear it.
My wife came home today and asked 'sym wants to know if you'll be a BWAB on her Jeep', I spat my tea out over the floor. I'll give her your details JD
the iron x soap gel doesn't smell as bad as the spray, but my glove split and got it on my hands. After washing my hands several times I can still smell it
Where did you read that? In a recent post in the PB section of DW? If so they go on to say they work together
James made all his products to be compatible and uses them both together himself, tripple and tough coat is a great quick simple combo. It used to be a general rule that you didn't...

start by looking through the above.
have you ever used one before? if not then look into a dual action machine like the DAS-6

I'm assuming it will be solid paint and not clear coated so remember you will actually be removing paint not clear coat.
basically as JD says
when I've played with cars like this they're generally fairly oxidised and dull, swirled and deep scratches all over and without doubt areas of poor or...
really? thought their tyre product was Gloss? comes with blue on the label? looks nice but durability is dreadful. I've almost run out and won't be replacing it
what's shine? I've not heard James mention a new product?
citrus power is a great wax / sealant safe pre wash and bug remover in the summer. I think it removes more than snow foam once rinsed, no special lance required and with the hose pipe ban coming it does a great job.
Wow, that is a real kick in the head! gutted for you mate. I tend to somehow spill more C4 than I ever managed to put on the car.
looks like you'l have to wait for the new C1+ and C1.5 silo seal kit
for use by hand you can't go much wrong with this and a tri foam applicator as shown in the video

Oh JD :S
I wrote out a full reply and thought better of it and deleted it all. Now see what you've got me doing.......
if polishing won't work, what is the t-cut doing if it not polishing?
the ban is here to stay, and east Anglia is going to be like it for the next couple of years unless weather seriously changes. This is from guys working on big projects to enlarge a couple of local resoviour.
The Karchers have a separate water pick up I believe, plenty of people turning to it
products as advised as above, but.......
being white get them sealed otherwise accept the fact that there gonna be filthy. once you've been through the full wash process using above, get something like gtechniq C5 / wolfs rim shield / nanolex sealant etc on after an IPA wipedown and this should...
if it's ssmall localised areas iron x paste, if it is wide spread stick to normal spray iron x.
I'm suprised we waited so long for ironx over wheel cleaners was posted. I'm not sure if brick acid was a serious suggestion or not?
I had the opposite with Lather, found I needed much less that other shampoos to get a nice slick feel. Generally only use 2 caps max to a full bucket, more often than not I can get a away with 1 - 1 &1/2 depending on how dirty the car is.
the spray head on citrus power can allow you to use up...
this is what I was looking at, a lot cheaper than having to get a panel resprayed IMO

C1 is not something to be taken lightly, hence why it is currently advertised as professional use. Most places are out of stock until GT get more deliveries next week.
The video shows how to apply it, but get it wrong and you'll need to machine polish it off. I wouldn't recommend it. Stick to...
