il get some clean daylight pics for you on saturday hopefully. at first literally the first few miles i scrubbed occasionally on hard bumps now its got a bit harder i havent notice it scrubbing but it must be close LOL. ive got it on its softest setting and as i said its about as hard as eibachs...
http://www.deutscheperformance.co.uk/pages/products/category_results.mhtml?category=suspk&car=renaultclio&manufacturer=koni&sub_category=1Suspension link m8
check out 1.4 prices nice . took about 5 days to get mine. £10 P&P
hope this helps
yea there easily adjustable m8 although i dont know if there shortend but they look like coilovers. its amazing at the mo and there cheaper than the ktec stuff i can give you a weblink if you want. cost my around £380 in vat
btw the second picture of the rear is higher than it is as the car is...
hi as i said i was gonna get a kit to sort out the mess the eibachs + poor roads made of my dampers. i chose this kit kinda out of desperation if you remember.. anyways its much lower than before in fact i was shocked when i turned up at the garage LOL still its on its softest setting all round...
haha i was just about to order a 182cup and have borrowed some money to help.. hmmm. nice as it will be this is another marketing ploy.
Personally i think 182hp is enough for the clio and 17" is for style not handling. as for the plaque you can shuv that up your twin pipe.
if i wanted 200hp...
hehe.. best handling rep mobile out there. cheap v6s safe. quite good lookin. st220s are 12k now 2nd hand low milege! mondys arent actually bad at all. get a zetec-s lowered 18s and it will keep up with a 172 on sweeping corners easily and just about on twists.
what i dont get is people spending 5K on styling on a 3k car combine the two you can get a 8k car thats scooby or fto or whatever you aspire too i.e MKII172. insurance cant be cheap with big exhausts added and boykits + ice. for 8k no actually for 6k you could get a subtley fettled 106gti in...
true.. show you dont have to spend a fortune to get awesome performance.. think about the 182cup taking on some serious £££££ B road competion and the williams is better still bargin prices now.
i like this one...

its different.
but you still have aircon driver/passenger airbags ABS/ESP same economy if not better (not on TBs though) safety cell with crumple zones. Normal seat belts CD player + changer Auto rain wipers / Stowage areas only thing gone is back seats (could keep em though) have you ever ben in a kit car...
i think the 172/182 represent an exellent starting point for cheap tuning. i.e removing rear seats 17kgs. Adding prorace 2s 24kgs (unsprung also !) adding lightweight recliners 10-15kgs. so on a 182cup with panel filter lets say with 180hp and a kerbweight 1070 - 17 -1 24 - 10 = 40kgs 1030kg...
hehe my real watch is a bit nicer although the most id spend would be £80 on a watch and get something that looked expensive rather than was as they all pretty much do the same thing.
ok i know this could be considerd as sad but id though id show you my new watch..

so wadaya think ? ;)
haha ive got a mint 53Reg MKII 172 with all the gadgets and some extras and the most ive got quoted was 6.5K !!! its only 18 months old FFS i could get 8k private but who wants one now there are 182s for 10k and soon 8k no doubt. but dont expect the cheapest 172s to be in good nick.
build quality is higher but theres a more stripped out back to basics feel in the 172/182 which is exactly what the TT designers were aiming for "Faux Racing Car"
