Wrong, it's a combination of both. A tractor has huge torque but no power. A honda has plenty of power but no torque. Neither wins many races. :wink:
Clio is definitely embarassingly slow at times though.
OEM Rev limit is 7200/7250. One of the two. Lower limit in higher gears too.
@Chris_Beer you've been in mine, which is RS Tuner'ed. It still kicks, but is yours the same as mine or a lot worse?
Not necessarily true. Mine still kicks. Idle speed with the RSTuner is 900-1000 RPM (starts off at 1000 and drops to 900), redline when the engine is hot is 7500.
Phillips Bluevision Ultra if you want the colour mate. The OSRAMs are a bit whiter than 'normal' bulbs, but not by much and they are still a bit yellow.
Not entirely true for all of this.
LED bulbs are good for replacing sidelights, but for headlamp/high beam bulbs, don't bother because unless you go for a 3500lm+ kit (£££), you're not going to see very far.
Xenon bulbs and HIDs are the same thing. OEM bulbs tend to use seperate ballasts and...
They're a second quicker to 60.
EP3 Type Rs are a little slower in my experience, also most videos where the two go head to head, the civic loses - see below;
In short, just youtube 'Clio vs' and have a field day. Bear in mind though that driver competence plays a big part in who wins, and...
Just buy one of these, snip the connector off the end and voila, you have a positive and earth wire from the interior light socket.

I ended up putting an LED panel across the boot lid, some people have put LED strips across the underside of the parcel shelf. Either or will give you a far better result than trying to squeeze a big LED bulb setup into a tiny light fixture, IMO.
I didn't go for the ECP ones in the end, I went for one from here (after I dropped one of Scott's :rage:);

The car charger is a 12 volt to USB adapter AFAIK. You'll need it (or a voltage regulator, they're quite cheap on ebay) to drop the voltage to 5v, which is what the Mobius takes.
Not sure what the hardwire kit contains, perhaps it's a voltage regulator as above.
You can if it's twisty. If you can both only take the corner at 50mph then it doesn't matter if he has 500bhp more. Search Dai chasing Fred on youtube.
Flol! Xenons Blazin'
TBH the difference in terms of cornering speed between 1*2s and non sport clios is more about driver ability than it is vehicle ability - Point 2 suggests the former is lacking.
