When people ring up and ask if the stealth is quiet, and the reply is something like, "yeah, its as good as direct replacement", it is NOT helpful.
That rear strut wont do anything, same as the MK2. All the load is on the rear chassis legs where the springs sit, ie there is no twisting/load on the damper turrets. Nice idea though.
Some crappy phone pics from today! Kev fitted the H&R coilovers to the 200, looks fooking awesome in the flesh!
Steve left them at the same hight as they came off my 197. Perfect imo!
If it has no cup packs, your shock to hub mounting points (x2 bolts) should measure 54mm to the bolt centres. If its 60mm, you can't get any aftermarket that i know of
Mint. Will do something like that when i get mine set up, but if the wheel ends up like that, i'll drive it at the mech who did it, "sorry, i thought i had some lock on" ;)
Yeah, i just say its off centre and i want it straight when done. But that should be done in any case........ You should have spun it round and gone straight back. Hows the car drive though, feel better?
School boy error. When i take it there i tell them the steering is off centre, and it needs a full set up. Imo it should not be given back like that to you mind. Go back!
Reading fail in this thread. If it doesnt work, it gets taken off. Why would he want a functional roof scoop? Soggy Recaro's ftl :( With it being bonded on it can be taken off no danger. Quick blow over done. Hell, bet most have these 200's have seen paint at the docks anyway ;)
I do differ ish. Have a GTI ;)
THe 172 has the edge, more grunt etc, down a good B road there wont be much in it, but the clio would have the advantage... :)
