    thought id put a few pics up of my newly purchased 182 cup. standard at the mo but ive bought a rs192 exhaust and sorted some eibach proline springs. im aiming for 200bhp so a k tech remap and itg panal filter are next then will see how close i am. gonna paint my bullets and get some new alloys...

    Do people realize it says in a YEAR! Lol I've had 3 a 172 cup which was wrote off then a 106 gti while I had a good think about what I wanted next now my current 182 cup.

    Yeah get some solid mounts. Ast 1s look good. As for coilovers ast's sound like there the best from what I've heard. I've never tried them as Im of the opinion there too stiff for the good British b road. Eibach proline springs would do.

    I bought a china blue 1 after I wrote off my 172 cup, was lowered so handled well. But all I wanted was another Clio sport. Did get 137mph on a private road though ; ). Only had pipercross induction kit. I've only just sold it. They would make a great little rally project.

    I like the looks from most angles apart from what they have done to the rear diffuser and those gay stick on pretend exhausts, it was fine on the 197. Standard wheels would be a no no to me too. As for trophies arnt they all pink now ; ).

    I've took the sensible option and gone for the group buy on the rs192 as it looks a good well devoloped exhaust, 300 quid is a bargain. Cheers for the info guys. Hope to see ya around bazzon so we can compare.

    Yeah i've heard hutchies and it's abit anti social shall we say. Lol 500 quid is still quite alot when the rs192 is going for 300 delivered on a group buy, sometimes price does overcome quality. Do AAS have a website?

    Millteks have a bad rep with welds so will keep away from them. There's a group buy on rs192 at the mo I might do that cos I don't think I can justify 600 quid as good as they sound. You sound like ya really want 1. Lol

    Alot of money though, the orbisoud is f**king 1k lol they all seem to weigh about 16 kg with similar power gains for 350, yozza would be a brave choice I think with the scorpion being most sensible.

    Ya mean mine. Erm don't know exactly what happend but it flipped about 4 or 5 times into a field, I woke up in hospital and can't remember anything.

    I agree they are awesome cars, the only way to have more fun is to involve naked ladies. In 2 years of ownership I never had a single problem unlike todays 197s seem to have and I absolutely cained it. Rip ye52 tnx. But my new 182 has improvements over it, I'll leave it at that.

    Standard 172 cup vs 182 cup, 182 is a faster better car. Fact. Around track and on the road. The tyres and suspension make the difference I don't care if the 172 cup is a bag of sugar lighter. My steering wheel is foooked too, only 34k aswell.

    Yeah then you went on to say the press loved it but in actual fact when on comparison tests they favoured other cars. Just wanted to clarify, the 4 stars for 172 cup in evo magazine and the 5 stats for 182 cup says volumes I think.
