its not the one that was on top gear if andy_leitch had read the rest of the post he will see its a different reg, dont get put off by everybody, and how did someone remember the last 3 digits of a car ?????
for under £200 you can get blackjax fitted, and they wont be able to drive away even if they had the keys, i wouldnt go down the tracking route as its to slow, and by the time you get your car back(if you ever do) alot of the damage will be done
yeh they all rattle and they all bang, joys of renault ownership LOL,i have just had a new exhaust on my new 182 and a washer jet(only a couple of months old too) anyway try the ciggy lighter yourself, check its not the fuse, and check the connections under the lighter, if that doenst do it take...
you learn not to accelerate it so hard in first, but when you do get it just accelerate through it, dont worry it wont damage it, i dont think theres a 172/182 that doesnt do it
i have had 2 renaultsports and on both when you floor it in first it sounds like the engine is about to fall out (massive metalic banging), this is quite normal !!!! on the 172/182 its a known problem that never got fixed, or do you mean engine noise ?
the only problem with a disklok is some tw*t will want to try and see if they can get it of (bit of a challenge), i had one fitted to one of my old cars and some knobber tried to get it off, they of course didnt but they caused alot of damage trying, so after that i stopped using it
disclok is the best visible steering lock out there at the minute, i wouldnt fit a tracker as it will take to long to find your car, the best bet is blackjax
ps i did notice that the exhaust tips are pointing a little left (not quite centered),it may not a problem as the centre sections are known to go and are replaced under warranty (they never get it straight), just check that theres a join between the centre and back box and all should be ok, if...
its not the motorshow one , if you compare the picture you will see the stripes finish in a different location on the bonnet front, and the side stickers are a little further forward on one of them, dont be put off, its a nice looking car, and its a good price for a dealer
