yeah thats what i was thinking, i might go for 40mm springs, would this damage the rest of my suspension ( e.g coilovers and shocks)

am i right in thinking the more expensive the springs the better the ride quality with them or is this just stupid

cool so you have 17" with springs and standard shocks : have you had any problem with tyre rub and does the ride feel horrible and bumpy

how much has it been lowered by

i have a 2002 Renault clio 1.2 16v and have decided to lower it 60mm all round. I have 15" oz racing alloys ( offset 37) with 185/55/R15 tyres. Can i just get springs or do i need shocks as well? Will i get any trouble with my tyres rubbing on full lock or not and will i be able to get over...

what else should i do to it

well since the photo i have fitted smoked side repeaters. and at the moment i am saving up for lowering springs and 182 side skirts

i dont think he needs to take it to a garage.. if it is the same problem as mine ( which it sounds like) your mate just needs to clean the female connector to the starter motor to get rid of the crap which builds up and stops the metals conducting
