I was going to do this mod, priced it up and spoke to various people on here, in the tuning circle etc, personally i decided it was not worth it, the cost and its not a very pleasant job totally outweigh the gains, and it is no where near 10bhp!

Hey if were playing this, my old car, my dad uses, an M reg mondeo has 155000 on the clock! we have had it since 75K, and its still original, clutch, headgasket, etc etc! and my r reg astra had 130000 on it 12 months ago when i sold it!

I use a 3/8 breaker bar, with about a 10MM extension on, you have to take the engine mount of to do it! I did one yesterday!

Bought the seats from here, think they were £300 or £325, the drivers one had wear on the lumbar, a friend of a friend is a trimmer for bentley and owed me a favour and as i had the evo back seat he took the material out of it and retrimmed it (many wouldnt of bothered, im fussy) then recaro...

Finally got around to fitting the seats today, well chuffed! They came out of an evo 9, and for those who think they dont fit, your not trying hard enough!! Shitty camera phone pic, but you get the idea!!! Gave them a wet & dry once they were both in and sorted aswell!, just ordered some...

Yes! diesel is 8 valve and a piss of piss! petrols are twin cams and require the proper locking tools! not nice, approx 4 hours!
