If it fails can be big bills time £££. If its due take it to one of the specialists on here, there are a...

Welcome mate Usual things when looking at cars, matching decent tyres, service history with proof of cambelt change by someone who knows what they're doing not a local mechanic. If it is due a cambelt factor in/knock off circa £400 Have a read here...

    what are the best?

You mention price isn't an issue but what budget you got in mind, Circa £3-400+ refresh all shocks with new genuine Renault, maybe the 172 Cup versions and a decent set of lowering springs from Eibach or Cooksport, refresh anything that looks tired while you're at it and a decent alignment...

    Help lowering

I'd be looking at lowering springs that drop it by half that amount, search on here for Eibach and Cooksport. Nice subtle drop but without compromising on ride quality too much if at all.

Fitting battery bracket & found this in the bay!

Good find, at least it caused no damage! I changed a window mechanism other month in an mx5 and found a very rusty pair of pliers in the bottom of the door. Must have been in there a fair while!

    Steering Wheel Replacement

This, looks decent quality with the stitching etc. But prefer the the one Dolan has posted with the centre marker. Think Snappy should become a Trader tbh, it would make it easier for people to get hold of him. He's work looks top notch and there is obviously demand for it on here...
