simple then, stick one end in the 360 the other in the modem...go into the system settings on the 360, test network settings and your away...(hopefully)

you going wireless with a router or usinf a cable to connect the xbox straight to the modem?

you can take pics from your pc for the background of the 360 "home screens" but for the gamer pic you either use a standard one from the 360, buy new ones from Live Marketplace or get the webcam and take your own...
