Was meant to be camping at ed38 but the weather is crap, got booked into a hotel though
My bro is staying with his mate in a tent still, he's got a black mk4 on black...
Saw Karl and Dave Ramsay down there this week, was also a burnt orange, not sure whos that was but looked smart
Ive just changed the wheels back to f1's on mine so if anyone saw me it was the iceburg ph1 with grey f1's
Dave.........why oh why......get them off!!!!!! haha
haha mini-meets are good when they invole o.z f1's :D
look forward to the next 'big' meet, not sure if it will be the get together for will or what not, but i havent managed a meet yet due to my car being off the road
RB looked lovely, im sure the red one is off here aswell
182 looks class as always pal
The 5 turbo is absolutely unreal how clean it is, but so was how much he payed for it  worth every penny though when you see it in the flesh
remove the shitty side skirts and remove the crap sunstrip and it wont look too bad, nice idea with the bonnet and bumper, not sure if it will catch on though
Buy another jap car if you want the upmost reliability, if you want to buy a 172 cup and have some change in your pockets then aim to spend around £4.5k-5k on a decent one thats had the belts changed
would love a set of H&R's for my clio, bit expensive but if you're getting them for a good price then why not ey
As for wanting better tyres and brakes for a cliosport meet/run, think its a bit daft as you shouldnt be pushing the car that much to need better tyres and brakes, especially on...
Met up with T12EED (tony) earlier and as we were chatting a RB 197 pulled in with f1 rear spoiler, and about 5 mins later a red 197 with f1 spoiler went flying past
for some reason i think you should keep them on the front for a little bit until you get it lowered....if you're thinking of that ofcourse,
but definately take them off the rear, looks out of place on a sport, more suited to lower spec models
I find that clios dont seam to suffer from stone...
i havent read the full thread as there is some HUGE posts in there, but if it hasnt already been mentioned......
Sell the ly 182, give your clio to your partner to use and you still get to drive it, use the money off the ly 182 and get a relatively new, safe, smart family car for you to use...
love them both :)
Would the ph1 go better with a bonnet on? obviously not as much air getting to the lump but surely more aerodynamic?
All the same though, the ph1 is same spec i want mine at, apart from i want an rs tuner re-map as well :)
i was nearly sick when i saw this last night mate, looks horrid, the steels look so hardcore in bare guise,
get the trims off and give them to me so i can demolish them and rid the earth of them :)
Car is gorgeous as ever though, whoever doesnt like the lights, you really need to see them in...
Raceland Forced Air Filter, actually made quite a difference, tried it with open induction and then putting the forced cover on and made quite a difference
I like all sorts of driving and i think the vts with a few little mods (quite cheap) can be a very capable car, Im just hoping that the...
Yes ive been rumbled, i dont own a 172 just a 1.2 :-).......jokes ;-)
Im well aware that you have to rev them well over 5000rpm to even see any results from them
I came from a saxo vts with breathing mods, 4-2-1 mani, pugsport de-cat back and forced air filter set-up
I dare say both cars are...
If you read the first post you'd have realised he was only suprised at how long it took him to catch up and overtake, not be beaten by a 1.1
Probably just getting used to the power, im going through that stage at the mo, havent had my 172 long, I was bored of the power after 3 days of...
I currently own a 172 and had a ride out in my mates brand new 197 a couple of years back now, wasnt impressed at all to be fair, just lacked torque pretty much all over the rev range
I would love to buy one but the lack of engine tuning available with proven good results puts me off as I...
