    Steering Wheel Off Centre?

    Oh Hai! Remember that lad that told you tracking will need doing after changing the ball joint. Clever lad, quiet good looking. Massive c**k. Something Bear......Brown Bear??

    Trendlines: Subframes

    They are normally very well looked after. If buying new, there are far, far, far, far, far better seats available.

    Trendlines: Subframes

    10mm lower. Iirc, this is because any lower would need crash tests redoing. The washers make a decent difference. And takes very little time to do.

    Trendlines: Subframes

    Have you removed the vibration washers? If not, custom subframe. Pricey to have someone else make them.

    Trendlines: Subframes

    Standard Clio subframe, then recaro provide a frame that fits between the subframe and the seat. Seat Recaro subframe Standard subframe Hence why they don't go low enough!

    Seen the Price of Blueflame Exhausts Recently?

    Ive had 2 182 bf systems. Both poorly fitting, blowing shite systems. Muppets tbh. Went direct to blueflame for my 182 system to be fitted. Took them 5hrs. Sometimes you get what you pay for. It was cheap, but it was s**t.

    R888's in September......

    No, they are a different (newer) design fella.

    R888's in September......

    Yes, but that test was utter b****cks. Carried out at conti's test track, on a car the tyres were specifically designed for!! And conveniently left the Goodyear f1 out of the test. Load of shite.

    R888's in September......

    Rofl. How exactly are they between a road tyre and a track tyre? They are nothing of the sort. They are a road tyre, that's pish in the wet. Try hankook rs2's. Brilliant, and actually a road suitable semi track tyre. T1r's would be pretty much my last choice as a tyre. Rather conti's, f1's, v12...

    headunit for my bmw...

    The alpine works very well (fitted a couple), handles call's well. The display does make ipod control a bit tricky though. I'd personally spend a bit more if possible. http://www.extremeaudio.co.uk/products/alpine---ida-x100/1131/ http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000EPQ4C4/?tag=cliospnet01-21 The...

    888's Standard dampers and Eibach sportlines

    Fair enough, I wouldn't say no to a pair sitting idle.

    R888's in September......

    Hankook rs2's. Far better for road use, and decent on track. Last far longer as well.

    Trophy on coilovers

    Sticking some average suspension on and overpricing it? Suppose that's 'somit'. ;).

    The vee, as you hardly see it

    Afaik it's the same, the recaro subframe fits ontop of the standard clio frame, so I can't see why it wouldn't fit? I could be wrong, might be worth asking someone with them in. But, I've said it before and I stand by it. They are for badge *****s only. I've had 2 clio's with these seats in...

    Trophy on coilovers

    Decent suspension and I could see the logic. But GAZ? No ta.

    Angle grinder? Why? Same subframe as 1*2's surely??

    200 bhp valver!

    Seen this in the flesh, the exhausts are hilarious. You could sleep in them n

    The Evora is Ready!

    The Europa was a decent car. Shame about it's noise though! Was setting off the noise meter at Bedford with the standard exhaust. Wasn't loud, but pops/bangs on the downshift.

    888's Standard dampers and Eibach sportlines

    In all honesty, I'd ask why you want them. Imho, track days aren't about going as fast as possible, it's about having a ball on track. I didn't find r888's any more 'fun' than the rs2 tyre, still track oriented (so they didn't go off in the way a road tyre can on track) but less grippy (ie more...

    Exactly. Can't polish a turd, so go for the better equipped turd.

    The Evora is Ready!

    Problem being, with the Elise/exige range they haven't sold enough. The purist approach is admirable, but there aren't enough people out there willing to spend the cash on it. Hence tvr no longer being with us, and lotus taking a different approach. I'd love to see the lotus approach to a hot...

    Just been offered a straight swap (Ignis Sport content)

    Great 'fun' little cars, but hideous looking. I'd go for the yellow one on spec! Then probably get the wheels done anthracite/black.

    The vee, as you hardly see it

    Trophy recaro's must have the vibration washers removed, otherwise they aren't low enough!

    Coilover swap: AST's->KTEC's

    Sorry fella, I didn't mean they'd cost £500 to rebuild, just that if he sells the ast's and buys ktec, he'd probably be about £500 better off than having the ast's rebuilt.
  26. ForceIndia

    show me your steering wheels!!!

    That looks fucked lol! Shiny bits, dark bits, ruined!

    Coilover swap: AST's->KTEC's

    Probably listened to the wrong people ;)
  28. ForceIndia

    Coilover swap: AST's->KTEC's

    Exactly! Having them built to his spec won't exactly be cheap, he'd probably pocket £4-500 from a swap for ktec's. And if he's not going on track, is there any point in pricey suspension? Unless being low is a priority, I'd go back to standard!
